First ever drive

On June 28th 2006, I have travelled for the very first time driving myself. Well this is kind of nice thing to share with you all. On June 27th I recieved my Driving Licence. On the same day I also recieved Defensive Driving Certificate.

Journey on June 28th started from morning 7:00 am. It was me and Justin. We travelled from Socorro to C&E Concrete Inc. Limestone quarry at Grants.

Well to start with what is special about this. Truly speaking I am very new to Driving. I have never ever driven earlier before alone. In India I have never driven. Apart from that I have just recieved my Driving Licence just a day before. And also the Defensive Driving Test as mentioned above. And above all the one main thing is that my very first driving vehicle was Ford Pickup - A big vehicle. Yes dear it is very big.

Now one that it is big and also I am new driver so day before trip I drove a lot to get the feel of Truck.

Well journey was kind of pretty cool. We took brakes in our journey and it was kind of cool. I actually drove on slow speed, say 5 mph less than the speed limit. So it was kind of nice. No big hurry.

Night before journey I was kind of lill bit scared. I was just thinking about the journey. But by the grace of God everything went smooth.
